I currently live in Eastside St Paul and was driving home up Arcade St by the Lake Phalen Golf Course when I noticed a State Farm sign at Josephine's Interiors buikding. I decided to stop in to the Jody Baber agency the other day to check out my current auto rates with Progressive to what State Farm had to offer. I was pleasantly surprised to be surrounded by a staff full of knowledge. This was a huge change from always getting a different person on the phone that never seemed to know my situation. While I was there the agent I was working with named Dan offered to complete a full insurance review. The process only took about 45 minutes and was probably the best 45 mins I have spent in a long time. If you are like me I had no clue what all the insurance I currently had even meant to me. By the end of the whole thing I learned State Farm had a bank, offered life insurance, and can handle all of my auto and home insurance all in the same office. I walked away with not only a better understanding of the industry, but he was also able to shave off 2 years on my auto loan, set me up with a comprehensive health insurance plan, lowered my auto premium by 40%, started a 50k life insurance policy, and included a renters insurance policy I needed but couldnt afford. This place is awesome! He did all this for less than what I was paying before except with 5 times the insurance I had previously. I kick myself now for not doing this sooner. What gets me is how long I must have been over paying at Progressive, uuurrrgggghh!!!! I would definately reccomend this agency to any of my friends and family. Thank you Dan, and all the wonderful staff at Jody's office in St Paul. This has to be the Eastside's number one insurance agency!
Pros: Excellent Customer Service, Unbelievable Follow Up
Cons: I can't find a better agency beside Jody Baber's State Farm
