Well I was craving some good Indian cusine and was very skeptical to search out for a great place just because when you are in the mood for something specific you don't want to end up with a lousy taste in your mouth. So my husband and I decided to trust the reviews about this place and we even drove all the way from SURPRISE ! It was so good I would drive back EVERY time I crave it just to know I was getting good stuff. I had the Karahi Tandoori Chicken Saag (extra spicey) mmmmm I can still taste it. My husband had the Karahi Chicken Fresh it was great also but not very spicey ...along with the garlic Naan bread. \r
I have to say I was SHOCKED for an hour and half that we were there on a Saturday night only one other couple came. I do believe that if they moved to Surprise they would get ALOT more business . Don't know if they are just stuck in the wrong location?!? However we will keep coming back and I will and have already recommended Royal Taj to everyone I know. WONDERFUL food and sweet hospitality!! \r
Only reason not five stars is the bathroom was small , dark and kinda dirty .
