Review content:
I purchased a used subaru outback sport from dynamite auto sales and was told at the time of purchase that the car was in great condition and was completely safely operable. I drove the car all the way from phoenix back to prescott and had the vehicle inspected the next day just to make sure everything was alright. It turns out that the cars front 1/2 axle was torn wide open and the mechanics said it was not safe to drive until repaired. I got the repair made and then attempted to call dynamite inquiring why they would sell me an un-safe vehicle and looking for reimbursement as there is an implied warranty of 15 days or 500 miles on the engine and powertrain. The 1/2 axle is obviously a main component of the powertrain and therefore I should have been duely recompensated for the cost of at least the part if not the entire repair. I had to call multiple times for over a week to be able to talk to a manager. The secretary is obviously dodging customer complaint calls by telling my at least 4 seperate times ""The manager's not in right now, can you try back in an hour?"" . After waiting an hour and calling back, the manager will still be out, ""but you can try back tomorrow."" Pshh. Yeah right. I finally spoke to a manager after a week and after faxing the actual invoice of the repair to them. They said that they would not reimburse me because I already made the repair and I should have just driven the car all the way back to phoenix so they could look at it. I told them that there was no way that I'm risking my life driving an un-safe vehicle and paying 60 dollars in gas to get to their dealership. The response remained the same. At this point I am filing a complaint with the AZ attorney generals office for a claim on the cost of the part. Stay away from this disgraceful dealership and if you do get conned like me, be sure to follow suite and stick it to them. They need to learn that the law is in place for a reason and they aren't getting around it. Morals lack. Pros: None, find a private seller Cons: Horrible customer service, dangerous neighborhood (come armed)
