Our family faced significant challenges when purchasing our new home: we lived in San Francisco and had to relocate to Boston in less than three months. Additionally, our work schedules only permitted a 48-hour trip to Boston to scout out condos and put in an offer. We can say without hesitation that our realtor, Will Brokhof of The Boston Home Team, was the single most important factor in our success.\r

Throughout every step of the home-buying process, Will worked tirelessly to ensure that all our needs were being met. During our house-hunting weekend, he exhibited an incredible depth of knowledge about the local housing stock and real estate market. Will showed us over 25 properties, and, at each one, he distilled the salient pros and cons with respect to workmanship, value, and location. He also gave us an insider tour of Jamaica Plain, orienting us to everything from the best place to get a cannoli to the best playground for our son. When we put in an offer, Will shrewdly negotiated with the seller and we got a great deal on our home. During escrow, he provided us with helpful recommendations for everything from mortgage brokers to home inspectors to painters. Will even suffered through time-consuming Boston bureaucracy to secure parking permits for our moving truck while we were still in California.\r
