Do not be fooled. This place is an absolute ripoff for the money. Idk where to begin. Lived there 3 years. I'll start off with the only good part. The maintenance staff couldn't be nicer. But let's face it, if I know them on a first name basis, what's that to say about the property? In my 3 years, my upstairs tub FELL THROUGH THE CEILING OF MY DOWNSTAIRS BATHROOM (they just re drywalled the ceiling, didn't bother to paint it. An out sourced repairman dropped the tub as he carried it out and put a hole in the wall not to be fixed either), both sliding glass doors leaked to the point of moldy carpets (they had it steam cleaned, how nice) dishwasher broke so many times I just stopped calling them with 5 months to go on my lease, oh and this is the best part. The AC is so old that FPL couldn't do an efficiency rating on it. I had a 2/2 loft style and my bill during the summer ranged from $250-300. Indoor AC unit is so old that they no longer make them that size and they'd have to rip down a portion of the wall to fit a new model in. (they have the same model in over half of the apts btw) So they fix it by taping the coils and hoses with electrical tape. I'm not kidding. There's rats all over the premises, only out numbered by the huge rat traps everywhere. Walking to your car is like walking through a duck crap mine field. They just started charging $25 a month for ""valet trash service"". You pay this fee to leave your trash by the door instead of walking it 25 feet to the dumpster. NOT OPTIONAL BTW. The rat infestation is a big fan of this idea, tenants not so much. Never any parking. If you have a pet, they don't spray the premises for fleas so good luck with your dog not getting them and spreading it to your house. For a couple months straight, I walked home to a note on my door warning residents about the string of burglaries in the complex. When the gate works, the key pad to open it doesn't (which is usually covered in spit due to the happy residents) My neighbor (who was eventually evicted) was caught taking a crap in broad daylight under the bike rack. I guess this is a repercussion of them allowing 8 PEOPLE to live in a unit and only 2 bathrooms. Another neighbor got tasered by police and restrained by paramedics while he violently vomited everywhere in front of my place. I called the cops as I witnessed a drug deal gone wrong that ended up with someone being locked in a trunk of a BMW. HAND. TO. GOD. Having said all this, the absolute worst part of the deal is when anything happens like stated above, you have the pleasure of calling the front office to speak to the RUDEST, CONDESCENDING, UNPROFESSIONAL AND TACTLESS EMPLOYEES that money can buy. Look around. Do your homework. There are PLENTY of other places in the area that are a better value for the money. I wouldn't have stayed another year if the cut my rent in HALF. There's a reason they don't charge much for a deposit...once you sign the lease, you're theirs to screw over for as long as you stay. RUN, don't walk away from this property. You'll regret the choice as I did. ABSOLUTE RIPOFF
