Review content:
My problem with Dr. Mernitz is she has put my VERY NORMAL 13 yr old daughter on a massive drug regimen for a so-called ADD/ADHD. I am divorced and my ex-wife takes our daughter to her. The issue is she refuses to keep me informed of what she has put her on and why. When I ask, she is combative and has the typical God Complex of most physicians of how dare I ask and question her treatment recommendations. As my daughter s biological father, I DO have rights to know what is going on BEFORE she fills my daughter with drugs. I am not saying she doesn t know what she s doing, but I do have every right to know why she is doing what she is doing even though my ex-wife takes her there. If I could give her ZERO stars, I would. I m sure there are many of you who feel that physicians carry an attitude of being untouchable in their decisions as if they were superior than us. We patients and parents of patients are not sheep and do not blindly follow their every direction as if they were sent down from a mountain top, carved on stone.
