Review content:
The food at rosewater is not your typical salt-fat feast, but a light, fresh, subtle and complex combination of textures and flavor. I ordered the black fish. It was served on a palate of green, red and white sauces. The white sauce was a mildly sweet pureed celery root, the green was a combination of savoy cabbage and horseradish, and the deep marron red was a reduced delicious red wine sauce that can't I remember the name of. My panseared blackfish was swimming in an or gy of flavor with a few toasted hazelnuts on the side. It was amazing. Eat here. Order the squash soup as an appetizer, and enjoy a night of eating out at a restaurant that won't send you packing with the typical bloat and disgust. Servers are friendly and attentive. Make a reservation; it was packed. Slightly more than I wanted to pay, but worth it.
Pros: Excellent food, cozy atmosphere
Cons: pricey
