Just visited Tio Pepe on Friday night with a dozen friends to celebrate a birthday. The food was blah..the sangria was watered down...and the waiter was rude! I'm convinced the previous reviews were written by the restaurant owners! Our waiter was so pushy and rude. Since it was a large party and the tip was a mandatory %...he kept on pushing us to order more than what we wanted. We ordered a pitcher of sangria to start and he said it wasn't enough...you need at least 2. Fine...bring us 2 pitchers. Some of us order soda and he made a nasty comment ""It's Friday, you should drink and party!"" We ordered 3 guacomoles to share for the table and he kept on repeating...""It's not enough, it's not enough!"" We really wanted to tell him to shut up and take a chill pill. But we bit our tongue b/c we didn't want them to mess with our food. When the food finally did arrive, it was very disappointing. Seriously...Taco Bell can do better than this. It was very mediocre. Def will not go back again and I highly do not recommend it. The only thing I can commend them about is the reservation process. They were quick and polite when I called in the reservation and gave me no problem at all. But everything went downhill from there.
