My friends and I were fortunate enough to see the North West Indiana Symphony's free concerts at both the Hammond location and Cedar Lake. Absolutely wonderful evening. Music was incredible playing such a variety of songs. We brought refreshments and lawn chairs and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. In Cedar Lake we also were treated to a spectacular firework display at the end of the concert. We were able to secure a picnic table which also added to our enjoyment as we brought a picnic dinner. The evening was wonderful. We plan to see the symphony next weekend when they perform in Griffith. We will not miss these events next year, for sure. Absolutely wonderful evenings. Thanks to the symphony for our enjoyment and hope they continue to perform such wonderful concerts.
