After seeing this restaurant coming off of 512 for years, the conditions were finally right and I got to try it out. It was much less formal than I expected, casual but comfy and could have been take out. I had a crawfish meal that was superb, and my friend had fried catfish, that was fresh, flavorful, breaded to perfection, probably the best fish I've ever tasted. The place was clean and cheerful, great music playing, and the owner treated us like old friends. This is without question the best restaurant I have found in Tacoma, it's a joy to come across a family business where so much care and pride goes into every dish. Highly recommend! Pros: Excellent food, feeling of the south, great prices! Cons: Tucked away behind the main street
