If you're going to Paso, you have to take some time to stop by Ecluse Wines and visit with the winemaker/owners, Steve and Pam Lock. There are many wineries in Paso now and sometimes it's hard to tell one from the next. Ecluse is one that stands out, from the great boutique wines to the experience you'll get. This is a place where you can still talk to the winemaker himself, get an ad-hoc education on how the wine is made, taste some of the upcoming wines from the barrel (if they're doing it that day), and just have a more intimate, authentic experience. They do tastings in their wine storage facility and feature an excellent Cab Reserve, Cab blend (Ensemble), a great Rhone blend called Rendition (our favorite!), and several other varietals - basically, you're getting high quality wines at great prices that won't break the bank! So, when you go, make sure you mention Citysearch and tell'em Tony and Lisa sent you! Enjoy! Pros: Unique wine-tasting experience, learn from the winemaker
