We took our dogs to ProGroom for the 1st time in June. They were not taken out to use the bathroom all day long and were not given water all day either. Two days later one of our dogs became lethargic, stopped eating and wanted to knaw on herself, we looked her over and discovered tuffs of hair were falling out in places and underneath that she was bleeding! She was like this from head to toe! We took her to the vet and they determined she had a deep skin bacterial infection. They said, as if someone had brushed her really hard with unclean brushes. Three weeks of antibiotics, two weeks of medical baths at the vet and $491.00 later our dog is back to her normal self, thank goodness. When I contacted the owner, Selena, she told me she was not responsible for any ""rash"" and she'd see me in small claims court. I feel that this buisness is money driven without any sensitivity given to the animals. This owner is in the wrong line of work and should NOT be working with any living being.
