Review content:
I bought a new scooter from this place about 2 years ago. Since then I have nothing but problems with the scooter and the service at San Francisco Scooter Centre. They sold it to me with a broken brake switch, but promised to repair it as soon as the part came in. So as suggested I took the scooter back in for an oil change at 300 km and to have the switch replaced. I called ahead of time asking about the brake switch and was told no problem just bring it down. I did and they said to come back in 4-5 hours. When I came back they claimed they did not have the brake switch and said they needed to order it,again. I left slightly frustrated, but figured I get it done the next time. So I waited until my scooter had about 2000 km on it and I took it back for a tune up and again to have the switch replaced. Again they said no problem, come back tomorrow to pick it up. I did and again no brake switch. I paid for the services as the owner (Barry) was not around. I called the next day to speak with him about the inconsistancy within his shop. He apologized and offered to refund my money for the tune-up. He did as he said and sent the brake switch via USPS. All seemed well except that now my scooter has this knocking sound in it. The manual suggested it was the spark plug. I tried to call SF Scooter to see if I could get a spark plug and again no help. They said they don't have any record of what spark plug I might need and I would need to bring it down for them to take a look. And that if I am having problems most likely it's not the spark plug. He tells me this over the phone w/o even asking the situation with the scooter. At this point I am done with San Francisco Scooter Centre. they have done nothing but run me in circles and give me bad information. I will take my business to Scuderia or Golden Gate Cycles.
Cons: This shop doesn't know what they are talking about.
