Herbivore: brought to you by the folks (Jay's Cheesesteaks, Burger Joint, Wash Quarters) who helped make Valencia an extension of Union St. is now helping gentrify the Western Addition, just like they did the Mission.
Sure the service is bad. But the real travesty is that at the only place you can feel reasonably secure that your asian noodles or curry will be free of shrimp paste or fish sauce, these same dishes taste like chef boy-r-dee rejects.
If you eat there, stay with the good sandwiches and mediterranean fair.
Pros: vegan, zaatar is yummy
Cons: pad thai a la Heinz, service a la Soviets
