Businiess name:  Marion's Carpet Warehouse

Review content:
When we got our carpet installed recently through Marion's, we regretted it later. The installer they sent came an hour late, when he did arrive, he brought all of these young guys who were working with him, and left them to rip out all of the carpet while he went off to get the carpet. While the installer was gone, his lackeys very haphazardly ripped out our old carpeting and in the process broke a wall telephone jack and knocked a big chunk of plaster off the corner of a wall. After they installed the new rug, they used our $200 vacuum to clean up and in the process jammed up the vacuum so that we could no longer use it, so they left the rest of the mess behind for us to deal with. They left huge staples all over the floor as well - my mom subsequently stepped on one. We also discovered that one of them had gotten into our kitchen cupboards and used a glass without asking us (we were in another room), one had used the restroom and left not only the toilet seat up, but also left urine on the toilet rim. YUCK! In addition, they almost forgot to put a closet door back on before they left, until we reminded them, and we discovered that they did not install the new carpet in the hallway closet as we had asked them to - even though there was enough carpeting for it - so now the closet has tan carpeting while the new hallway carpeting is brown. Not to mention the fact that you could see where all the seams were in the new carpeting. For $500, I'd expect better service than that, especially after the Marion's saleswoman said the installer was ""highly recommended"".
