Review content:
Cedar Point is hands-down the best roller-coaster park in the country. I've visited everything from Kings Island (OH) to Busch Gardens (FL) to Six Flags (CA). While all these parks are all very amusing in their own way, they're more ""theme"" parks than roller-coaster parks...and THAT is the biggest difference. Instead of trying to find some catchy slogan & mascot for the kiddies, Cedar Point has always focused on the thrill ride. They've broken nearly every barrier year-after-year for highest, fastest, longest, steepest and down-right scariest roller coasters. The best part of all, of course, is not many people are familiar with Cedar Point. This keeps lines down even during the season - usually no more than 1-1/2 hours for even the newest rides (Raptor, Mantis, etc) and sometimes as little as 15 minutes for some of the mainstays (Gemini...fun, and even the Magnum (incredible) lines are short at times).
Pros: most coasters around, never overcrowded, friendly staff
Cons: parking (no tram now), getting to be pricey, traffic thru town
