If you are looking for a small Methodist church in a rural setting that has a place just for you, you've found it! Worship begins at 11:00 am, Communion every first Sunday, Fellowship Lunch after church every second Sunday. Friendly members welcome you to join us as we grow. Families with children especially welcome! A little noise during the service from attending children is music to our ears! Farris Chapel is located in "downtown" Barfield, TN, a small community only minutes from Hwy. 231 and Hwy. 99, just south of Murfreesboro. It was established in 1880 and remains a charming country church with a white wood outside that looks as if it should be on a postcard. Inside you'll find a place has been saved just for you among the 40-odd attendants. Make your plans to join us for worship this Sunday! You'll be glad you did! Pros: Friendly people, excellent preaching, good location, great cooks Cons: Not enough children
