These guys are amazingly honest! I went to another transmission shop after my car started having some problems with morning starts. They said I needed a complete transmission rebuild for $2400. Since I didn't have that much cash on hand, I left, planning to take it back the next week or so. A dear friend told me about Marshalls and I decided to go there and get a second quote from them. I told them the other place had already diagnosed my problem and I just needed a quote to see if I could get a better price. They looked at it and couldn't find anything at all wrong with the transmission. They kept it overnight so that they could drive it in the morning and see what I was talking about. Then they noticed a gas leak. They actually drove my car for me to another fabulous shop (Automotive Technicians) to get repairs. The other place fixed the gas leak for $320. My car is perfect. They saved me over 2K and didn't charge 1 penny!!!! If my transmission ever does go out, I can't wait to take it to Marshall's.Extreme honesty and character! It is sort of off the beaten path, but WELL WORTH the drive to take your car there. Most honest and helpful auto place I have ever heard of.
