Review content:
My friend's kids went to this preschool and they were very happy with it. She obviously convinced me, so I set up an interview and my daughter is now enrolled. She has only been going for two weeks and I can't believe how wonderful it is! All the kids are so happy there too. I'm am so impressed that I felt the need to write a review since when I was in my search for a preschool, I didn't see much written about Wee Three Bears.\r
\r
If you are looking for a cozy ""home away from home"" learning environment, this is the place! It is non-institutional, run by a former school teacher who has been running the preschool for over 35 years. There are at least 2 teachers per class, with a maximum of 12 students per class. There are two 3 yr old classes and two 4 yr old classes. \r
\r
You can tell by watching the class that the teachers TRULY love what they do and love the kids. They form close relationships with each student AND their parents. \r
One important thing to know when calling them is they don't just accept anyone, meaning they have an interview process with the parent and child. There is such limited space and they like to make sure that it is a great fit for everyone. Whoever answers the phone may also want to know ""who referred you"" since they are mostly referral based. \r
\r
We love it because it is so loving and warm, not like a Kindercare or other large instutional type of preschool. Each teacher has been with Wee Three Bears for at least 20 years! There is a definite cozy, family feeling environment. Huge Focus on Character Building and Self-Esteem in addition to preschool curriculum. Located in a private residential cul-de-sac, completely hidden and away from main streets.\r
\r
Another reason I love this preschool is because it is just that....only preschool, not daycare. All kids in the class come at the same time and leave at the same time, so if you're like me and want your child to be around other children who aren't in daycare situations all day, this is great.
