Review content:
Living in walking distance to Music Row, Midtown, 12S, Belmont, Edgehill Village, and Hillsboro Village, there is no shortage of salons in my neighborhood. The last two stylists I have seen, however, have been so wrapped up in gossiping about their celebrity clients and personal lives that I left feeling Iike they should have paid me to listen!\r
\r
I booked an appointment with Amy at Breon after passing the salon several times on the way to my credit union, then looking at online reviews. This place is like a secret little oasis right outside downtown! I was shocked that my total after tipping Amy 20% and the assistant who gave me TWO amazing shampoo/head massages, plus buying product for myself and my son (no hard sell either...I asked!) was less than I have ever paid for a cut/color/highlights in Nashville.\r
\r
Amy was careful to take the time to listen to what I wanted, evaluate my hair's current state and recommend a plan of action that worked for me. Three weeks later, my cut and color look amazing. \r
\r
I have never felt so relaxed and pampered at a salon while surrounded by stylists and assistants who seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs.\r
\r
This is a real and unsolicited review!
Pros: Stellar service, ambiance and value
Cons: A bit of a drive when you live in downtown/midtown/village
