Review content:
We just got engaged on Saturday, July 29th at Pewter Rose, and it was probably the worst dining experience we have ever had. Despite the fact that several friends told us not to go to there for dinner, we decided to try it anyway... bad idea. My fiance got on one knee in the middle of the restaurant, and the entire place went crazy, it was a magical moment, only to be followed by a pathetic response from our waiter. He approached our table directly after he ""popped the question"" to deliver our deserts and didn't even make mention of the event. That seemed to be the trend of the entire wait staff. The only response from our waiter was a half-hearted ""Congratulations"" as he tossed the bill onto the table. We were not asking for an engagement present, but maybe a little more enthusiasm to make our exciting night, even more exciting. It is disappointing to know that we will not be going back to the restaurant that we got engaged at. Pewter Rose is not the place to go for any occasion. Pros: Beautiful decorating Cons: Terrible service
