I took a couple of birds and an iguana to Dr Schuchman about 10 years ago, but when I later moved to San Francisco and acquired another large bird, I took her into Bay Area Bird Hospital. I soon regretted this when my bird started developing a medical issue and visit after vist to Bay Area Bird Hospital turned into hundreds of dollars, loads of tests, shots, and other medication, and a bird who started to go down hill fast from the onslaught of procedures and medication. Probably just in time, I got her back to Dr. Schuchman who took her in, got her back on her feet, and gave me back a bird that is getting stronger by the day. My stress has significantly decreased. I can't recommend this doctor enough for his commonsense treatment plans, low fees, and his compassion.
