Review content:
Right before calling for a dental appointment at Dr. Leung's, I checked for reviews about her practice.\r \r I seem to recall a review about a person calling their office and being told they accept the person's insurance, then in the end jipping that person, not accepting their insurance at all.\r \r Well, when I called the office, I was armed with this information, and I specifically asked if they took mine. The woman said yes, and so I went.\r \r One of the first things I asked the receptionist was how much the first visit appointment would cost, minus my insurance, since I chipped a tooth. She said that they don't take that insurance coverage, and that it will be $185 for a visit and 1 xray of 1 tooth. This is sounding familiarly like a habit with these people, right?\r \r Well, I traveled all the way to their office, 30+ minutes from my house, so I figured, oh well, maybe I should just have it done. All the while, the receptionist was shoving this 4 page form to me, showing me the fine print, of all work that will be done on me has to get paid immediately, in CASH!\r \r Right, I'm losing it here. Then, the other person who apparently took my call buts into the conversation saying she doesn't recall me mentioning my insurance. I said absolutely not, I was very careful to mention it in the first place. She just said oh well, ""I just meant that I don't recall it being mentioned.""\r \r A lot of help that does me. These people have no respect for people's time. They like playing games. Are they that desperate for clients to pull the old bait and switch? I left saying no thanks. Very frustrating.\r \r I suppose I should consult reviews for a really honest company instead. This is completely ridiculous.
