Review content:
I joined my friend for a bridal appointment and it was a very uncomfortable experience, probably the most awkward I have felt at a business in my life. She wanted to go there after buying a ball gown with Yvonne earlier this year, so she had glowing reviews and expected the bridal experience to be similar. The way the bridal room is set up is neat, with dresses hanging from the ceiling so you can really see them. We walked around in there for quite some time before a employee helped us. As soon as the sales girls found this out that her mom lives out of town and wouldn't be at the appointment, they were in a rush to get her out of there, assuming that there was no money to be made. She was only allowed 4 gowns because they ""don't really do try-on appointments, especially on Saturdays"" (no one else was in there at the time and there were 2 girls helping us). When she came out in a dress, it was ""absolutely gorgeous on you"", ""soooooo pretty"", ""beeeeeautiful""...none of them were as pretty or as nice as the ones she tried on earlier at another local shop appointment. She was scolded for touching the front of a silk dress because they sell the samples. There were repeated comments about ""when your mama comes"". The funny thing about that is, how do you assume that someone will be back if you disrespect them when they come in to look at what you have to offer? Every person in that shop thinks they are better than you, and those two girls definitely made it clear that my friend wasted their precious time. Thank goodness the appointment was rushed and over in 20 minutes because I just wanted to crawl under that Victorian couch and hide. I am also engaged, so they not only lost her business, but could have gained a customer in me as well if they treated us like we deserved to be there.
After reading here that her dresses are hacks, I believe it. They are masking poor customer service with a pompous attitude and masking cheap dresses with a ""private label"". They think that everything they have is amazing and that their poop doesn't stink (probably because they can't smell it over that awful perfume scent of the shop).
