Review content:
I've been suckin down ribs from this South Street storefront since 1979 (Formerly Bea Bea's Lawnside BBQ). The neighborhood has changed alot over the years ( for the better) but the ribs and the sauce have stayed great. Very consistent quality of meat, always slow cooked in the wood fired pit. Several sides available but the cornbread and candied yams are the best. I like to mix the hot and mild sauce - hot sauce alone will definitely make you sweat. Smokey inside but there are several tables outside that make a nice place to eat to stay on the street.. Kevin is the owner and BBQ master. Interesting guy to talk with on a wide array of topics. Highly recommended even if you have to drive in from the burbs.
Pros: Awesome ribs
Cons: I can't eat ribs every day
