Review content:
I had just bought a brand new $1500 laptop from Safe Haven. The laptop was malfunctioning, so 2 weeks later, I returned it to them. I'll try to illustrate what I went through via a timeline.
July 15 - Bought laptop
July 31 - Returned laptop to Safe Haven
**Never received any phone call or information from Safe Haven**
August 8 - Called the shop to inquire about the status of my system. Was told that they had sent it to manufacturer for repair. Was referred to manufacturer.
**Manufacturer said they have not begun any RMA process with Safe Haven regarding my machine.**
August 17 - Called manufacturer again and was informed that they still had not received my machine for repair.
Safe Haven told me, ""We have emailed the manufacturer and they're being difficult.""
September 3 - First call from Safe Haven during this whole process to tell me my machine has arrived back at the shop.
Safe Haven is unreliable and untrustworthy.
If you've never dealt with the RMA process, I'll clue you in - You call a 1-800 number, talk to someone for 5-10 minutes, get an RMA number, and then mail the system to the manufacturer. Literally, it takes 15 minutes. Safe Haven took 3 weeks. 3 weeks!!!! AND this all occurred a mere 2 weeks after I had purchased this brand new system from them.
DO NOT GIVE SAFE HAVEN YOUR BUSINESS!!
