Review content:
Who did these guys pay to get a 28/food 26/service in Zagat.
Food = ok. However, nowhere similarly rated restraunts.
Dined there 5 months ago.
A) Waited an hour for entree. B)Crazy lady (the owner?) was running around yelling and screaming like a loon. C) Waitress could only provide generic awnsers about restraunt's food/wine. Claimed to have NEVER tasted anything on the menu because owners DON'T provide tastings for their servers. Not 26 style service. ZAGAT should be ashamed of themselves.
Was Zagat bought? . Lots of money riding on sucsess of Smith Street. Numerous restaurant owners have invested big money and sucsess of this new Restaurant Row is paramount to them and yupsters who live in surounding neighborhoods Cobble Hill and Carol Cardens . Could they have gotten together and bought a ZAGAT rating in order to give Smith Street a big draw restaurant? I think it's possible.
