This small restaurant counts amongst the best Middle Eastern eateries in New York. It's nicely priced and already got some good reviews. The Lebanese chef worked in 5 stars restaurants in the Middle East and studied under some of the best chefs in Paris. The staff is eager to please, a lot of care is put in the cooking: all the food is made fresh all the way to the pita bread made from scratch and cooked in an oven before your eyes. All the ingredients are carefully picked and the tabouleh was the best I had in years. The falafels are impeccable, crusty and not too salty. The houmous the best around the East Village. The dessert, a rice pudding was a killer. Taste is subtle and fresh all across the line. Highly recommended. Pros: best Middle Eastern food Cons: n/a
