Review content:
We're on vacation in Bellevue and thought we'd try some place local for dinner. I prefer local restaurants to box restaurants. I found Cafe Pirouette in the Entertainment book I'd purchased. \r

We arrived around 6:30 pm. We were offerered our choice of tables and the waitress brought us water right away. The menu look interesting, with choices of lamb shank, veal & chicken saltimbocca, not to mention the selections of savory crepes. A little pricey, with most entrees at $18 or higher, but I'm willing to pay for good food. After the initial contact with our waitress, we saw her, but never at our table. She read a large order to the chef, cleaned salad plates, took someone their takeout order. She walked past us several times, but we couldn't catch her attention. Finally after 18 minutes of no contact, we got up and left. She looked right at us, but never said a word.\r

It's a shame really. We were hungry and looking for something intriguing, new & interesting. Instead, we got the cold shoulder.
Pros: Looked quaint and cozy
Cons: Lousy service
