I dropped off a Hartmann carry-on bag with a broken zipper and two pairs of shoes for repair. The nice gentleman (not the owner) at the front told me that the luggage repair would be about a month and that the shoes would be ready to pick up at the end of the week. I pre-paid for all of the work and told him I would be back to pick everything up in a month. He assured me that they would phone me when the luggage was ready. \r I waited six weeks (not the four that had originally told me) and went in to pick up my items. The repairman looked all over the shop for my items for more than 15 minutes. I finally spotted my bag behind the counter (literally under his nose). It was filthy and it had not been repaired. The shoes were inside it - also not repaired. It had sat there un-touched since I dropped it off over a month prior. It was dusty and smelled like cigarette smoke as they obviously smoke inside the shop. I had my ""ticket"" and my receipt showing that I had pre-paid, but the gentleman told me that he was not authorized to give refunds and that I must speak with the owner. I left my name and number for the owner and have yet to hear back from him (the bill was $95). The employee there was very nice but had no authority to help me. \r I am afraid I will have to have my lawyer write them a letter to get this refund and will obviously NEVER visit Edward's again (this was the first and last time). It should have been no big deal to get a call back and the refund. Cons: NON-EXISTENT SERVICE
