I almost don't want to give a good review because I don't want to share! This place is amazing. The menu is really extensive, especially if you like rolls--there's something for everybody here. They don't use crazy ""California"" ingredients and the variety of flavors is truly an accomplishment. Main courses and appetizers are great too. \r \r The rolls are great for beginners. but, if you're looking for exotic fish, don't come here. He keeps to the basics, but finds every possible way to reinvent them with super tasty results! Definitely try the Simon Roll, and for avocado lovers, the Daniel Roll. Always super fresh and the price is right for SF sushi. My husband and I pig out and usually come out of there with a $50-70 bill, depending on the rolls and how saucy we get. :) Give a shot, you won't be disappointed.\r \r As for the ambience, it's pretty small, so it's OK for a date night, but there's nothing really around it to walk to afterwards except the bars on Clement street. The noise level isn't too bad unless they have a large party in the back. Pros: great food, great value, very fresh Cons: parking, bathroom
