Businiess name:  6th Street Pub

Review content:
Keep your eyes peeled eastward when cruising 6th street in Nevada, just off Lincoln Way or you might miss the nondescript doorway or neon frontage declaring ""6th Street Pub"" - a gem of a tavern, well-worth a visit. At fist glance, this small town bar appears quaint and rustic however, it really does heat up - providing all the entertainments you would expect to find in city joint while maintaining the lower prices, attentive service and friendly patrons you find in a small town location. 6th Street Pub offers all the standards: full bar, drafts on tap, billiards, darts, video and casino-style games, quick-easy bar grub and a state-of-the-art jukebox system - all at the ready. Their prices are comfortably affordable, especially considering their 5-7pm happy hour daily and a number of weekly deals such as their ""Bottomless Beer"" Wednesday nights, $2 drink specials and other considerations like free chili on some game days. Tight with the local community, the pub is a family-run business with a staff full of fun, easy-going, social characters who take good care of all their guests and make sure that each night is a party night. The patrons include a staple of locals with a steady stream of visitors from all the nearby areas (such as Ames) and even a few transplants from bigger cities such as Chicago and Los Angeles as of late. Pub-goers here are friendly, eager to meet new people and likely to join in on the party fun whether it be dancing, singing, or a round of shots. Unlike many other bars and clubs, 6th Street is often buzzing with people even on what is usually considered ""off days"" (Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays). The party really kicks up on the weekends and during their frequent event nights which include Karaoke every Thursday, live music/bands on select Friday nights, free attendance Pay-Per-View MMA on two plasma screens (whenever broadcast) and classic party events such as their annual Halloween Bash (complete with costume contests and prizes). So if you are looking for a great night out that will leave you with money in pocket, new friends and party-time stories to tell, visit the 6th Street Pub in Nevada - an undiscovered delight. Pros: Bottomless Beer Specials, Party Crowd, Inexpensive Cons: About 8 Miles from Ames
