Gosh -- I grew up with Vartali haircuts. I trusted Vartan with my 80's perm moment.... to my sassy Demi Moore-esque short hair times stolen from the movie Ghost. To say I don't live close to the hair salon is an understatement, but you have got to know that I hold out as long as I can, and deal with some unruly hair just to get a masterful, yet manageable cut from Vartan. Vartan is the Edward Scissor-Hands of my reality, and when he is unavailable I know I am in good hands with his skilled staff such as Piet who is a natural artist, and Reuben who is my rock star. And for the record, I have never had better color elsewhere. Anna gives me the most attractive natural color to match my complexion, and when I am feeling it, she gives me bolder highlights that spice things up for me. Life is tough, I work damn hard, but when I go to Vartali, I am treated like a Queen, and I rest assured that I am in good hands.
Pros: The people and the talent.
Cons: You will be spoiled to other salons.
