Review content:
My husband and I frequent Gonzo at least twice a month, and as other reviewers have said, it is a wonderful place to bring friends and family....there is something for everyone on the menu. Every menu item comes in a generous portion. The pizza is fantastic, and every pasta is fresh, piping hot and delicious. They have an amazing pre fixe deal that does not skimp on portions or flavor, and it is only $30. They tweak their menu seasonally to make space for ingredients that are in season. Their butternut squash soup in the winter is notable. My favorites on them menu are the arugula salad, the rigatoni with meatballs, and the homemade chocolate pudding. The Italian wine list provides an excellent selection, and the staff are able to recommend wines readily if you are not familiar with the menu. I have had excellent service every time I have been here, attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. The only downfalls are that it is not open for lunch and it can get loud in the back room during dinner rush times. Get there on the earlier side for a more private, quiet dinner, around 6:30. Pros: Salads, Entrees, Wine, pre fixe Cons: Sometimes loud
