I used to love this place. But since the death of the Chef / Owner last year, it seems that the owners feel it is OK to let the cooks run the kitchen. (This is usually the first sign of a restaurant's demise). This was a Chef-Driven Restaurant ! Although it would be difficult for anyone to fill Chef Vincent Scotto's shoes, this lovely spot deserves better. I live in the neighborhood and have given it 2 chances in the past few months, both were disappointing. EVERYTHING was overcooked and under seasoned EXCEPT for the pizzas. When I asked my server who the chef was, I was told: ""We Don't Have a Chef Anymore, It's Just the Kitchen Guys, But the Food is Still Great"" I beg to differ. Also, the Manager could be more friendly and less condescending. She does NOT make one feel welcome. A terrible shame, \r I actually feel bad posting this. (I RARELY post reviews at all)\r And, yes, I am in the restaurant business. Pros: Wine List, Pizza, Room Cons: Entrees, Manager
