Review content:
I am outdoors gal. Always has been. The thought of going to a gym as a Californian never made a lick of sense to me. I'd power walk, hike, run, or surf, whatever my schedule would allow me to do. But curiously, while I felt the cardio vascular activity was a significant source of exercise, my body, and expanding figure told a different story. As I approached 35, inches became impossible to lose. Pounds piled on. A friend of mine, who is polar opposite of me (would rather have a roof over her head then sky) finally encouraged me to meet her trainer Boba at Body Maxx. While my friend is not necessarily athletic, her strength, physique, posture and confidence impressed me, always. I always assumed she was just ""built that way"". I began training with Boba over 18 months ago. The combination of cardio (just 30 minutes!) and weights/resistance training was the solution that evaded me for so long. I NEVER KNEW! The gym is intimate, the staff and regular attendees are like family. We encourage each other day in and day out. Boba and Body Maxx are so important to the quality of my life and the smile on my face.
