Review content:
I visited the Hofbrau for lunch, this past Sunday afteroon. My food was delivered to the table at just the right temperature. The prime rib I ordered was very good cooked rare, as I had requested. The mashed potato was the real deal, and the vegetables were garden fresh. I found the music uplifting and the lake view soothing. My experience, at the Hofbrau was quite relaxing. The portions were generous. After coffee, I decided to bring the black forest cake, I had ordered for desert, home with me. The friend, who was with me ordered potato pancakes. She said they were the ""Best"" she had ever eaten. She also ordered Sauerbraten, which she said was delicious! Desert was included in these ""Specials"" that we ordered. Given the generous portions, the clean, rustic atmosphere, and the quality of the food, it was well worth the drive! Life is good.
