I have no idea who's writing these reviews but I have eaten at Benkay 20+ times and never had a bad dining experience. If you park on the other side of India Street you will be towed (this did happen to a friend of mine once) but it's not Benkay's parking lot and they have no control over that landlord's towing policy. I'm no sushi connisseour (I haven't had sushi in SF, Japan, NY, etc., etc, blah, blah, blah) but the sushi has always been fresh, the service good and the staff friendly. We have plenty of sushi restaurants Portland and Benkays is arguably one of the best.
Pros: MMMMmmm... it's good
Cons: Sushi can be pricey
