My insurance company called the Kress Brothers to perform an inspection for hail damage on my roof. They called me to set up a time and I told them I wanted to be here when they came. Tony agreed that he would call before he arrived. Sounds good right?
The next time I hear from Tony he calls to let me know that there was no damage. I asked why he didn't call and he said a coworker was in the area and did the inspection so he didn't have to ""drive all the way out himself"". I found a card from his coworker, Nick, in my screen door. NO DAMAGE? All of my neighbors have damage.
I called my insurance company to tell them what happened with Kress and that I was unhappy that they did not call. They allowed me to ask another contractor out (called first) and he said Yes DAMAGE. The insurance company then hired a third inspector to come out(called first). He FOUND DAMAGE.
I received a check in the mail for my obviously hail damaged roof yesterday no thanks to Kress Brothers. I, along with everybody on my street, will be receiving a new roof because of obvious hail damage...no thanks to Kress Brothers. I would almost bet that a teenager was paid to discreetly leave a business card in my screen door and drive away...do not use Kress Brothers!
