Review content:
Lindsay Honda sold me a car that has a major safety issue (surging/accelerating on own being the main issue) that was taken in for repairs a week after purchase. The service dept was unable to locate the problem (that is plastered all over internet forums) after telling me it would be 'no big deal' to repair and insist that another dealer will be able to locate the issue after informing me that Lindsay's ""engineers"" could not fix it. The sales manager, John Ross, yelled at me in front of my child, telling me I had been ""nothing but NASTY"" over this issue and greatly upset my son. I have been nothing but patient, but I will exhaust every outlet I have to get this issue righted. They refuse to reverse the sale and told me I have no rights. After telling manager my rights. he looked at me under his eyebrows and said ""oh."" This manager told me he would take the car back ONLY if I bought another car off their lot (they would do a trade in) for $240 a month. This is approx. $70 more/month they expect me to pay. Their customer service is UNACCEPTABLE and they are knowingly selling LEMON cars. If they truly valued their customers and their customer's safety, they would be willing to take this car back, no strings, but since they know it has an issue (and they've admitted it, remember), they don't want it back on the lot. Now I am stuck paying for a vehicle that I refuse to drive away from that lot again and will gladly continue with my filed complaints at the BBB and Attorney General and take legal action.
