Businiess name:  Geonetti's Specialty Subs
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I stopped by for lunch yesterday to get a sub and was very surprised at the new prices. I looked at the pizza prices ($4.00 for a specialty SLICE - not very big) and decided against it. I then looked at the sub prices and decide to get a 12"" sub despite the high cost ($8.00) - sub only, no drink or chips. After tax and a $1.00 tip (they have the ""tips are appreciated"" jar right in your face when you order so you feel compelled to tip - and the not so friendly cashier gave me the ""you better tip"" vibe) the price was $9.80. \r \r The sub was OK, nothing special. The bread wasn't the freshest and the potion was average.\r \r I know this is a new venture for the owner partnering with Frank's Pizza, but you need to realize this is downtown Roanoke. I expect those type of prices when I travel to big cities but not here. \r \r Next time instead of paying $10 bucks for an average sub, I probably will setlle with an average footlong with fresh bread and a ton of free toppings for $5.00 someplace else before I go back to Geonettis.\r \r I was looking forward to Geonettis being a good lunch option but was very disappointed. Pros: Location Cons: Prices are way too high
