The Takahashi on Holgate is without a doubt the best. It is my Cheers. I've been going there since 95' and have yet to be disappointed. The service is great, the food and portions are incredible, and the owner/chef is magnificient. The atmosphere is comfortable and quaintly Japanese. The specials on Wed, Sat & Sun are well worth the wait. The customer make-up is eclectic and makes for great people watching. All is all it is a '10'
