Review content:
I came in around 9pm to get a drink to calm my nerves. I sat down and the bartender was leaning across the bar, talking to another patron next to me. I sat for several minutes until finally she asked what I wanted. I told her a beer and tequila shot. She gave me a snotty look and said sarcastically ""OOOH KAYYY?"" She asked for my id and looked at it briefly while continuing to flirt with the guy. She flung the id back at me onto the bar, then after a few minutes more, brought me my drinks and said loudly ""BE O TCH!"" in a high pitched chicken squak. I would have left the bar right then if she hadnt taken my card already. I looked down the bar and realized that I was the only girl besides her in there. I chalked up her rudeness to her insecurities. In my shot the lime was already chewed and moldy. ""Can I get a fresh lime?"" I hated to interrupt her flirting, but I was disgusted and ticked off! She looked at the lime, laughed and got a new one. Then she asked me questions in a condescending baby voice ""Did you have a bad day?"", then she asks if Im a stripper! I told her NO and she says ""You should be, they make good money, what do you do?"" She did the ""BE O TCH"" squak again, thinking I didnt know what she meant. I started to play her game. I berated her the way she was berating me. I had heard her saying things to the guy sitting next to me that were innapropriate & personal so I began asking her about it. I guess she realized I wasnt going to sit there and take it and I wasnt leaving either. Later when my boyfriend came, she gave us a free shot while I tried to cash out. I wanted to leave but she kept ignoring me! She says ""Your pretty cool when you drink, I dont know about when your sober"" I abswered ""Well you called me a Be o tch, twice which I didnt appreciate"" Then she said ""You heard that?"" and starts laughing. I left and been back a few times but never saw her again, she works Wednesday days. This bar is full of an older male clientel and thats why.
Pros: Its a full bar, thats not too crowded in a fun part of town.
Cons: I like this bar despite my one crappy visit, but one bad visit is a lasting impression.
