Review content:
I am not hiding my name in this review because I stand by my words. Before my daughter was a student at Parkside she attended Kindercare in Vancouver. While Kindercare is not a horrible place, I never felt like my family belonged there. After a particularly long day at work I realized my daughter seemed to always have a dirty face when we picked her up. So I thought about changing daycares and called Parkside to see if they would take her. I talked with Connie, the director, and she told me she would contact the state licensing board to make sure she could take my daughter since my daughter was only 10 months old at the time and they were licensed for children at least one year of age. I got a call back within a few hours and I was told the state permitted Connie to take my daughter. I immediately wrote a 'resignation' letter to Kindercare and we started at Parkside within two weeks. I have never felt my child is uncared for or neglected at Parkside. I can always call Connie or the teachers and talk to them about my fears or concerns and they listen to the ravings of a paranoid mother. I have consistently found the center to be clean and organized. The teachers have done an excellent job of teaching my daughter things I never would have thought of in a million years. As to the negative comments that have been posted about Parkside I say this - everyone has an opinion and not all opinions are based in facts. I will not say Parkside is perfect because no daycare is. But they are the daycare that I have found to be the closest to perfect in Clark County. And I do not have to worry about my child coming home with a colorful vocabulary or a hateful heart!
Pros: They love children!
