I've dealt with these guys for over 25 years. They sell good equipment at a great price, and Jeff Miller at the front desk is knowledgeable about everything to do with sound or lighting. I've used them since I managed a teen dance club in the 1980's and still buy from them today for my DJ business (laddmusic(dot)com). They might not kiss your butt to get a quick sale like Guitar Center, but they know everything there is to know about sound and lighting and you will get an honest answer and leave there with a good product. If you want some kid with a perfunctory training in sales to tell you what you want to hear and sell you Taiwanese garbage, then Guitar Center is your store. If you want decades of experience and forthright good business practices and advice, then go to CLS. It's a busy place so be patient and you will get exactly what you need.
