Review content:
At first, I like going to Club Julian. However, the Management WAAAYYYY over-sold memberships. It is far too crowded. Also, Management sold memberships indiscriminately and irresponsibly; you will find members who clearly should not be in a Health Club. Mainly, you find too many Elderly people clearly entering Dementia on the Track or working Nautilus Equipment – and that is scary! Elderly use equipment as chairs, block the Track, and say bizarre and inappropriate comments to anyone. I was once running the Track – an Elderly Man grabbed me, almost knocking me over, and mumbled “You’re wearing your pajamas – ha ha” (I was in a conventional track suit). Another time, a very old man having trouble undressing suddenly tried to start a fist-fight with me – actually hit me – because he thought I was “too close to his locker”. I reported the assault to Management; nothing was done. Even though I have eight months left on my year’s membership I will not return – I do not feel physically safe there.
