this is a great place for those yummy cold crabmeat and shrimp salads. it's got a great decor on the inside including a large screen television that is set into the wall and plays old movies. i liked the ocean motif. unfortunately the server during lunch was so rude to me that the thought of returning turns my stomach. as he came to our table to take our order i asked if the advocado or the artichoke was more popular, and his answer was, ""well, i don't know. one's an artichoke and one's an advocado. you need to make a decision."" it was one of those humiliating moments where i was totally caught off guard, sitting here taking attitude from this smug waiter with apparent anger issues, wondering how far i should take this. ever have one of those moments that just ruins your afternoon? this was definitely it.....
Pros: excellent food, nice central location in sf
Cons: if you aren't one of the neighborhood guys, you are apparently "out of the club"
