Review content:
I like Banana Bean because it's something different in German Village - a taste of the Carribbean! Try the pork sandwich and a side of sweet potato fries - you won't regret it! Overall, the food quality is good, but they serve a little wheatberry concoction on the side of a lot of their entrees that I could do without. It'd be nice if you could replace this with fresh fruit or something; it would be a better contrast to an otherwise heavy meal. Small, intimate dining space makes for a great little romantic hideaway. I believe they're still on a BYOB policy, too, so that's something to keep in mind if you go.
Pros: Good food, nice atmosphere.
Cons: A bit pricey, bad website.
