I hired Service Masters to clean my 2 bedroom apartment after renovations. I was shocked when a crew of 5 showed up with NO papertowels and 2 generic household cleaners, none of which included stainless steel cleaner, wood cleaner, floor cleaner, bleach or tilex for heavy bathroom cleaning. With the exception of one team leader, no one spoke english, which made it impossible to explain to them what we wanted done, since it seemed no one had ever cleaned anything before showing up at our place. They had no idea how to clean the blinds, glass tile, or kitchen appliances. They wanted to wash the floor with just water which is not ideal after major renovation work! How about some Murphy's Oil? They also showed up with a vacuum cleaner that could fit into my pocket -I was assured they had heavy duty vacuum cleaners to suction up major dust. Not the case-They ended up using my Dyson vacuum cleaner. Finally the manager showed up with 2 rolls of paper towels for a 2 day job! This clean up was a fortune and my husband and I ended up cleaning the entire weekend-not worth the $ and I will be reporting this to a business bureau!
