I'd heard a lot about Twilight Pizza from a friend who lived in Camas for while. As a Vancouver resident, I don't make my way out to East Clark Co. very often so I had never been very inclined to make the trip in spite of my buddy's glowing review.
Boy, have I been missing out! Not only was the food everything I had been told and more, but the atmosphere and decor gave me the sense that I might not be in Clark Co. anymore.
Perhaps I'd found a wormhole to stupendous Italian dining along the river in Venice. Or maybe I had flashed back to a time where customer service was genuine and not contrived.
I could go all day about the Pizza, the staff and the restaurant we enjoyed today, but I would be neglecting the MOST AMAZING SURPRISE!
What if I told you that beer could taste like a chocolate smoothie? What if I told you that the same beer, brewed in Montana, could be poured over ice cream? Sounds different, eh? That's what I thought. At my friend's suggestion, I skeptically spooned into an ice cream beer float.
I don't remember what they called it. I just remember that it changed my life!
Kudos to you, Twilight! I'll be back!
Pros: Quality ingredients, great staff, ice cream float to die for
Cons: A little out of the way, but well worth it!
